When you float with us you experience the entire river from the beginning, passing through all three dams including the legendary Comal River Tube Chute before your shuttle brings you back.

Open Bottom vs Vinyl Bottom Tubes

Rental Options
Standard Tube
Choose between an open bottom tube or a vinyl bottom tube. The vinyl bottom provides extra support and is great for carrying small belongings. Note: vinyl bottom tubes can be more difficult to get into.
Cooler Tube
Keep your drinks cold on the river! Cooler tubes include a built-in ice chest. A $20 refundable deposit is required per cooler tube. Perfect for keeping reusable containers cold on the float.
Bring Your Own Tube
You are welcome to bring your own tube. The $25 per person rate still applies and includes parking, river entry above the Comal River Tube Chute, and one shuttle ride back. Additional shuttle rides are $10 per person.

Life Jackets
Life jackets are available at no charge. A refundable $20 deposit is required per life jacket.
Lockers
Free lockers available to store keys, wallets, phones, and valuables while you float.
Deposits & ID Policy
- One valid photo ID required per group as deposit
- We do not accept car keys as deposit
- Free lockers available for keys and valuables
- Life jacket deposit: $20 per jacket – fully refundable
- Cooler tube deposit: $20 per tube – fully refundable
Age Requirements
- Guests must be 4 years of age or older
- Children under 4 are not permitted on the river
- Life jackets strongly recommended for young children and weak swimmers
Payment Methods
We accept all forms of payment including cash, credit and debit cards, tap to pay, and Apple Pay. No restrictions on payment method.
Important – Comal River Container Policy
The City of New Braunfels strictly enforces a no disposable container policy on the Comal River. Please prepare before you arrive.
- No disposable cups, cans, bottles, or single use containers on the river
- No chip bags, snack wrappers, or single use food packaging on the river
- All beverages must be pre-poured into reusable containers before entering the river
- Alcoholic beverages are allowed on the river as long as they are in a reusable container
- All snacks must be emptied into reusable containers before getting on the river
- Reusable water bottles, tumblers, hard sided coolers, and reusable cups are permitted
- Violations can result in fines and removal from the river
Plan ahead – prepare your food and drinks before you arrive. Consider renting a Cooler Tube to keep everything cold on the float!
